1979 MG MGB

We spend endless hours searching the net nationwide to track down forgotten discarded and left for dead classics and bring them to open market to find them a new home and hopefully a second chance to be out on the road again. Many of these cars have been sitting for years ,some don't need much, others may need full tune ups and or restoration, but all need a new home. We are not a restoration shop, body shop or mechanic , we simply track down these very Special,rare,unique or just quirky beauties where ever they are in the country and save them from sure death at Crusher . Today we bring you the always Popular British Classic , a 1979 MG MGB Convertible with Manual transmission, in what looks to be Original/Unrestored condition , running and driving. Found and rescued this Very cool Roadster from Arizona , after very likely seating unused for a few years, but thanks to Arizona very dry weather this baby its as rust free as they come , making it the Perfect Candidate for an easy Resto . Please take a few minutes to read through our description . INTERIOR its in pretty good condition for an unrestore original survivor, but here are some of the things we have notice : driver side upper door panel its Torn(see pics) the rest of the panel its in pretty good shape as its the passenger side panel, dash its in good shape ,all windows roll up and down , Radio does not work, lights do not work, Interior Fan does blow any air, Top still looks good, Not sure if it is the Original top but looks like its been on it for quite sometime, latches for the top do not stay locked, seats looks good, carpet its clean,no foul odors, please see photos for more details . EXTERIOR as expected for a non restored car will have 40 years worth of minor dings and scratches through out , Paint its in bad shape, its faded, its pealing off on the driver door (see pics) , front bumper surface its rough(see pics) , has a notable dent on the hood by front emblem area and another dent/Bent in middle right side(see photos) , body lines are nice and straight , doors close very smooth , and unlike most Unrestore MGs out there this body and frame are Free of any major Rust (see pics) , see photos for more details and visible damages . MECHANICALLY, it starts, stays running and it drives, goes through all gears, it will need tuning , brakes work ,tires hold air and have good thread but could not say how old they are. As always, we advice a personal inspection before driving any classic car and as expected for any classic car that has not been used in a while it may also need further serviced, tuning and inspections before safely taking it on the road .
